So I took the whole morning off yesterday to spend 30 minutes in a doctor's office to hear 30-seconds of sound--the sound of the heartbeat of an 11-week-old. It was totally worth it.
It was Jaime's first with the nurse/midwife who will be our captain of baby birthin' for number three.
This is a pregnancy blog again.

Priorities
What does it say about us that Jaime's Amazon.com wish list combined with mine still contains fewer items than our Netflix cue?

Shoot

The other day, Simon woke up his mother by bringing her the camera and insisting she take pictures. You can view the set here.
Then David took a few photos, which I have added to his set.
By the way, our bedroom walls are not green, as shown here; they are "Clamshell" (or as I call it, "Honky Skin." I think Simon's deep brown eyes are throwing off the camera's white balance.

Mom's always have the last word
I just saw an X-ray of a boy's arm with a break which allowed the bones to overlap by an inch. This injury occurred whilst playing football.
Did I mention, An Inch.
From this moment forward the only sports my lovely angelic boys are allowed to play are:
Golf
Underwater Basket Weaving
Competitive Knitting
Air Hockey
Horse Shoes
and
Speed Walking
The Mother has spoken.

Watering Hole
Whilst standing around at work discussing fried food on a stick a nurse commented that her husband hates gravy. After I recovered from my shock she clarified that she continues to make gravy for their meals but now the menu states "country fried steak and sauce", "biscuits and sauce".

It's official
I'm officially employed. St. Francis called today and gave me a start date of June 5th.
I will need someone to come over and orient me to the "real world" before then.
